SEURO Project
Scaling up Proactive Digital Integrated Care
SEURO (Scaling EUROpean citizen driven transferable and transformative digital health) is an EU funded Horizon 2020 project (grant no. 945449).
The overall aim of SEURO is to evaluate key factors necessary to prepare any EU region to successfully implement and scale the innovative, people-centric digital integrated health and social care solutions for multiple disease management.
To achieve this, research has been aimed to advance three novel implementation support tools using the ProACT platform developed under H2020 (PHC-25-2015, Grant No. 689996). The ProACT platform has been used to test the effectiveness of the SEURO tools. ProACT is a citizen-/people-driven, self-management orientated platform capable of supporting multiple disease management on a single user application.
The SEURO tools include:
ProTransfer
A transferability self-assessment tool to assess an organisation’s preparedness for digital solution transfer.
ProBCF-C
A behavioural change framework checklist to optimise a digital solution.
ProInsight
An artificial intelligence (AI) prediction model to assess the impact of a digital solution on health system performance.
The project involves 12 partners across five EU Member states (Ireland, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Austria).
SEURO brings together a consortium of academic/research institutions, Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), health service providers, EU networks (including AAATE), and multinational corporations.
